I had to spend 2 weeks in London mainly for business and I didn’t want to stay in another plastic hotel room that looks the same the world over. I wanted something roomy, with some historical presence, where I could cook some of my own meals if I wanted to and where I could get 4 or 5 star hotel type service.
I found 51 Kensington Court on the internet and am so glad that I did. The rooms are just wonderful.

This small apartment complex offers a welcome into London's Kensington Park and museums with a little home of your own. The decor in each apartment is charmingly different, but all have housekeeping conveniences with daily service. The former residence faces a traditional, quiet avenue of town houses, but just steps away is bustling Kensington High Street where London life is full of shopping and dining opportunities as well as leisurely park walks and London's finest museums.

The location cannot be beat! Literally steps from restaurants and only blocks from supermarkets (Marks & Spencer & Whole Foods), the tube and Kensington Palace.

Location is excellent, just off the Kensington High Street and near Whole Foods and Marks and Spencer's food halls. Tube station is an easy 5 minute walk. Close to the action but on a very quiet street. It's so easy to pick up dinner and a bottle of wine after a day out sightseeing and take it back to the modern kitchenettes provided in each suite. Lots of very nice restaurants close by. A great place to stay in London!

The location of the apartments is definitely a feature and we were able to easily access various tourist destinations via the tube, bus or walking. There are a number of fantastic supermarkets nearby so it is easy to self-cater during your stay and the apartment kitchens are well equipped.

The staff at reception were extremely helpful and friendly, and even helped me look for a permanent place to live in London (I stayed here while relocating). While there is no 24hr reception service (reception staff are around till seven or so), this only seemed to add to the illusion that I was returning to my own (temporary) home every evening.

We found it very relaxing, due in no small part to the very warm and genuine welcome from the staff. The room was a good size with very comfortable and clean furniture of good quality, as were the fittings in bathroom and kitchen. Cleaning was of a high standard.
